Message In A Minute

A Message in a Minute started in March 2020 after our nation was introduced to the Coronavirus. Churches along with everything else began to shut down. As a Pastor, I was honestly very worried and concerned about not only our church family but people as a whole. I knew we needed to get the church out of the building.

I had tried for months prior to March 2020 to find a Pastor and church that wanted to sponsor a Minute of Hope or Encouragement that could be used at the radio group I work for. Now there was a small monthly cost to do that on the radio. I am not sure if that deterred anyone, but it just seemed I was getting nowhere. I believe now there was a reason for that. One day my wife Cindy suggested I write scripts and just do these messages myself and post them on social media. So we got our own YouTube channel and that is just what we did.

So that is how A Message in a Minute got started and we are still going strong.  It has been amazing to connect with old friends and to make new friends. I get prayer requests and praise reports and a lot of interaction with those who have become part of our MIM Family. I even have a friend I grew up with in school tell me that I had become “Everyone’s Pastor.”

I could never have done this without the leading of the Lord and all the help Cindy has given me with running the camera, editing videos, posting them, etc…..There is a lot that goes into this and she has been right there alongside of me all the way!

Of course, we are eternally grateful to those who have prayed for us, have shown us love, and have become a vital part of our MIM Family. This is His work and we are here to honor and serve Him.

To God be the glory……great things He has done….and is continuing to do!
